2Cor. 3:6 says "who also has made us able ministers of the new
testament (gospel)".

We believe that God has gifted every person with different and
unique abilities and talents and when those are put to use in the
church it causes growth (Eph. 4:16).  So we are not merely just
volunteering to get a job done but we are ministering to the other
members of our church family and through that ministry growth
comes to us and to the ones we are ministering to.  Growth also
will come to our church attendance and membership as a result of
our ministry.

Everyone has a part to play and every part is valuable and when
all the parts are functioning as able ministers (which is what God
intends for us to do), then the value of the whole body increases.
